FRIULAN WINES
Friuli-Venezia Giulia is a region full of wineyards (22.000 hectares), thanks to a perfect climate and a rich soil. We have personally tasted and chosen wines from Baccichetto farm, from Precenicco town, next to the famous Prosecco region. It's a family business, and the tradition and knowledge is transmitted from father to sons and grandchildren. Prosecco D.O.C., Refosco, Cabernet Franc, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla and Merlot are few of the wines we are offering to you.

Prosecco D.O.C.
Alcohol: 11,5 %.
Typical characteristics: wine obtained from Glera grapes grown in Baccichetto vineyards. Straw yellow in color, the taste is fruity and fresh. Food pairing: excellent as an aperitif and between meals, it goes well with appetizers and fish soups.
Serving temperature: 6-8 °C.
Rosato Frizzante
Alcohol: 11 %. Typical characteristics: it is a wine with a fine and intense aroma obtained from the white vinification of red grapes of Merlot, Cabernet and Refosco. Food pairings: perfect with cold and hot appetizers, first courses, white meat and grilled fish. Serving temperature: 6-8 °C.
Prosecco D.O.C. Extra Dry
Alcohol: 11,5 %. Typical characteristics: sparkling wine, fruity and lively, with a fresh flavour, obtained from Glera grapes grown in Baccichetto vineyards, chosen personally by Vittorino Baccichetto to give the maximum of typicality and fragrance. Food pairings: excellent as an aperitif, it also goes well with soups, pasta with delicate sauces, fresh cheeses and poultry. Serving temperature: 6-7 °C.
Prosecco D.O.C. Extra Dry
Prosecco D.O.C. Rosé
Alcohol: 11,5 %. Typical characteristics: made from Glera (85 %) and Pinot Nero (15 %) grapes. Appears delicate, elegantly fruity and floral scent. It is fresh and fragrant on the palate and brings back the olfactory sensations. Food pairings: excellent as an aperitif and together with white meat, sushi and pizza. Serving temperature: 4-5 °C.
Ribolla Spumante Extra Dry
Alcohol: 11 %. Typical characteristics: finely aromatic sparkling white wine, fresh, lively and fruity. It is obtained from 100 % Ribolla Gialla grapes grown in Baccichetto vineyards.
Food pairings: perfect as an aperitif, it is also excellent as a whole-meal wine.
Serving temperature: 6-7 °C.
Ribolla Spumante Extra Dry
Friulano
Alcohol: 12,5 %.
Typical characteristics: straw white with citrine reflections, it is a wine with a delicate and characteristic aroma. The taste is dry with hints of bitter almond, dry but soft and velvety. Food pairings: perfect as an aperitif, it is also an excellent wine for the whole meal. Serving temperature: 8-10 °C.
Ribolla Gialla
Alcohol: 12,5 %.
Typical characteristics: pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, it is a wine with a characteristic, dry, citrine flavour. The pleasant and persuasive bouquet is reminiscent of acacia, chestnut and oak.
Food pairings: wine for soups, also excellent with fish dishes.
Serving temperature: 10-12 °C.
Pinot Grigio
Alcohol: 13 %. Typical characteristics: straw-yellow colour, with a fine and persistent bouquet and a fresh and dry flavour. Food pairings: excellent with fish and first courses. Serving temperature: 8-10 °C.
Pignolo
Alcohol: 13 %. Typical characteristics: native wine that has been matured for 12 months in barrique. With an elegant body, it is a wine with a reserved character that is slowly discovered. Food pairings: It goes perfect with grill and roasted meat. Serving temperature: 18-20 °C.
Refosco
Alcohol: 12,5 %.
Typical characteristics: beautiful intense ruby streaked with violet, with a vinous and fruity aroma, with hints of raspberry and wild blackberry. Soft but decisive flavour.
Food pairings: it is a red wine for a rural and free-range meal, very suitable for grilled meat dishes.
Serving temperature: 18 °C.
Cabernet Franc
Alcohol: 12,5 %.
Characteristics: it is a red wine with a strong character that stands out for its inimitable herbaceous tones, especially if very young. Aggressive in youth, over time it becomes aristocratic and complete.
Food pairings: it goes well with game (roe deer, hare, wild boar), pork, grilled red meats. Serving temperature: 18 °C.
Merlot
Alcohol: 12,5 %. Typical characteristics: it is certainly a great wine, full and robust, rich in colour. Slightly herbaceous aroma and flavour. Food pairings: excellent with roasts and fried dishes, white and red stewed meat. Serving temperature: 18-20 °C.
Malbech
Alcohol: 12,5 %. Typical characteristics: beautiful lively ruby red colour, with a characteristic bouquet, which is dry, full and sometimes soft in the mouth. It is obtained from 100 % Malbech grapes grown in Baccichetto vineyards.
Food pairings: Perfect with cheeses, pizza and snacks. It is a good conversation as well as meditation wine.
Serving temperature: 18 °C.
Vermentino
Alcohol: 13-14 %. Tasting notes: straw yellow color of good intensity. It has an intense and delicate aroma of flowers and fresh fruit. Savory on the palate, with good body and remarkable freshness. Excellent persistence.
Food pairing: fish, white meat, soups, appetizers.
Serving temperature: 12/14 °C.
Rosato
Alcohol: 13-14 %.
Tasting notes: coming from the processing of red grapes which have reached advanced ripeness, its color is intense pink. Aroma of cherries and fresh red fruits. Broad and persistent on the palate. Remarkable freshness slightly rounded by the alcohol content.
Food pairing: fish, white meat, soups, appetizers.
Serving temperature: 13/14 °C.
Selvaneta
Alcohol: 13-14 %. Tasting notes: bright and intense ruby color with violet reflections. Strong scent of berries and spicy, slightly toasted tones. Good structure, balanced.
Food pairing: ideal with red meat, game, spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 12/14 °C.
Ciliegiolo
Alcohol: 13-14 %. Tasting notes: intense ruby red color with violet reflections. Notes of red fruits and undergrowth, medium tannic and good persistence.
Food pairing: ideal with red meat, game, cheese. Serving temperature: 18 °C.
Scarilius
Alcohol: 13-14 %. Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color with violet reflections. Concentrated, decisive aroma of ripe undergrowth fruits. The mouthfeel is decisive, the tannins soft on the palate. The finish is persistent. Serving temperature: 12/14 °C.
Terra Solare
Alcohol: 13-14 %. Tasting notes: intense ruby red color with violet reflections. It's a rare example of Syrah vinified in purity in the Maremma area.
Original for the balsamic notes of eucalyptus, oriental spices, ginger and cinnamon. It stands out for the scent of tobacco, licorice and orange jam.
Food pairing: ideal with red meat, game, spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 18 °C.
