Storage conditions

Some of our products require special care and attention due to their freshness and simplicity.

Extra virgin olive oil

- Store the product at room temperature (18 - 22 °C) away from light and heat.

- The expiry date reported refers to a well-preserved product.

- At temperature below 12 °C, the unsaturated fats contained in the oil freeze. In this case, keep the product for at least one day at a correct storage temperature before consuming it. This process does not alter in any way the organoleptic characteristics and the quality of the oil.

- Any sediments are an indication of quality, and the product is perfectly edible.

- Tip: After opening the barrel, we recommend pouring its entire contents into one or more clean and dry glass bottles. In this way, the oil will retain its organoleptic properties at a high level for a longer period of time.

Parmesan Cheese

- Keep the product in the refrigerator.

- Remove the cheese from the vacuum plastic bag only when you are sure to consume it.

- If the product has lost its vacuum seal during transport, remove it immediately from the plastic bag and place it in the Ovtene storage bag that you have received with your order and consume it fast.

- If you open the product and do not consume it all, do not put it back in the plastic bag or it quickly molds, put the cheese in the Ovtene storage bag that you have received with your order and store it in the refrigerator.

Tuscan pecorino Il Grotta

- Keep the product in the refrigerator.

- Remove the cheese from the vacuum plastic bag only when you are sure to consume it.

- If the product has lost its vacuum seal during transport, remove it immediately from the plastic bag and consume it fast.

- If you open the product and do not consume it all, do not put it back in the plastic bag or it quickly molds. Store it in the refrigerator.

Pickled dry tomatoes

- When you receive the product, check the vacuum: if the cap is lifted and "click" is heard while pressed, do not consume it and contact us.

- Store the product at room temperature (18 - 22 °C) away from light and heat.

- Once opened, keep the product in the refrigerator, the tomatoes completely immersed in oil and consume them within a few days from opening.

- The expiry date reported refers to the vacuum-sealed and well-preserved product.

Coffee

- Store the product in a cool and dry place.

Chili pepper

- Store the product in a dry place away from light and heat.

In general, check the products, or more precisely the integrity of the packaging immediately after delivery.

Any non-conformities shall be communicated to us within a week from the delivery date. After seven days of delivery we are not held responsible.

Proper product preservation is up to you.
